We profess Contemporary Architecture because we do not know any other way; but to be honest at this time and place in history. Our concern is really about the new construction that had resurrected old styles: Neo-Classical, Neo-Gothic, Post-modern, Art-Deco, etc. and that, to us are architectural lies, architectural crimes, an anachronism that falsifies our time and place in history.
Let's build something new! We also profess "Green" Architecture because we do not know any other way but to be sensible with our environment at this time and place in history. We will inherit a worse planet than the one we have received from our parents if we do not change the way we think and act. Generation after generation exploiting indiscriminately our limited resources, but we, as critical thinkers, are planning to change this insensible cycle by "meeting the needs of our present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." (1987, UN Commission on Environment and Development, "Our Common Future"). Let's build something "green"!
